  • The Freer and Sackler Galleries of Asian Art at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. house over ten thousand pieces of Chinese art dating from Neolithic to Present times, all of which is available to view online.  Furthermore, a search function may be used to narrow results to a particular era.
  • The website of the U.S. Department of State Office of the Historian provides a brief history of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, as well as information on current affairs.
  • The Harvard University Open Learning Initiative is part of a multi-university project to provide free online supplementary learning classes.  There are many video lectures on the topic of China as well as many other subjects.  For more information, visit the edX website.
