Reading LibGuide: Genres & Formats

This guide gives great tips and suggestions for leisure reading resources at Butler University

By Genre

There's not one central location for graphic novels within our library. Some graphic novels are located in the Juvenile or Young Adult sections of the Curriculum Resource Center in Irwin's lower level; others can be located in the Browsing Collection on the first floor. Some are located on the second floor in the General Stacks.

We suggest searching in WorldCat Discovery for any specific titles or authors that you may wish to locate.

eBooks

Butler Libraries have thousands and thousands of ebooks that you can read online or checkout and download! However, many of our texts are academic and do not easily download in ereader formats.

Audiobooks

Irwin Library has a very limited number of audiobooks available for checkout. These are located on the lower level.

If you are looking for an audiobook, especially for leisurely reading, we suggest checking the collections of Indianapolis Public Library.
