Poll Everywhere for Faculty/Staff: Home

Poll Everywhere

Poll Everywhere is a classroom response system that allows students to respond to real time poll questions. There are four ways students can respond to a poll: sending a SMS text message, using a smartphone’s web browser, sending a “tweet” on Twitter, or on a computer via the web. The results of the poll are updated in real time via the web interface and can also be embedded into a slideshow presentation via the *PollEV Presenter App.

(*Note: In order to use the PollEV Presenter App in a Butler classroom, you must contact the IT Help Desk ( and ask to have it installed on the computer in the classroom you are teaching in.)

The Center for Academic Technology holds a 100 user license for Butler faculty and staff that provides you with additional features beyond the free account. If you do not have an account through the Butler user license, please contact the Center for Academic Technology ( for an invitation to the account.
