Created by Northwestern University's Knight Lab, StoryMap JS is an open tool that enables storytellers to easily create gorgeous, interactive content pieces. It is ideal to tell geographically-based stories. It uses a slide-based creation method, so if you know how to create a slideshow, this will be easy.
Adobe makes fantastic creative products and we wanted to make sure you were aware of a FREE addition to their offerings: Adobe Spark. There are three creation options with Adobe Spark - Post, Page, and Video.
Adobe Video has a format that is very similar to that of any regular slideshow; however, it allows you to annotate each slide and will seamlessly pull all your annotations together into one polished video file.

A podcast is a digital audio file; most times, these audio files are uploaded to the Internet and created as parts of a sequence. Many of us enjoy listening to podcasts, but it's not that hard to make one for yourself!

Infographics utilize images, icons, and graphics to convey information.
You can format your infographic to accomplish particular things - tell a story, compare and contrast. explain a process, and more. This blog post includes an infographic layout cheat sheet that you may find very helpful.
There are plenty of tools out there on the market, but we've tried out these ones and really like their free functionality.
