Butler's Critical Communication and Media Studies major is interdisciplinary and draws from multiple communication theories to explore issues related to media and communication, social justice, and diversity.  Classes range from exploring concepts of race, gender, and sexuality through the lens of media to communication strategies activists use to challenge political and social injustices.
