Classrooms
Irwin Library has a Library Instruction Computer Lab, located on the 1st Floor of Irwin, in the Southeast Quad. It seats 33 students. For f2f library instruction, your librarian will reserve this room for your class.
The Science Library's Collaborative Learning Space, Levinson Family Hall, 200M, seats 24 students. When using this room for library instruction, your librarian will reserve this space for you.
Ordering Materials for Classes
For building collections, Butler Libraries follows its: Collection Development policy
To request specific books, streaming media, and other materials be ordered for the collections, please email your requests to your Subject Libraian. Your liaison will most likely be forwarding on your email or reentering the information in a separate library ordering system, so please avoid sending us catalogs with items circled if possible.
Print Learning Materials on Reserve (Limited checkout)
Want to give your students access to print copies of a book?
We can place items on Print Reserve for you. Items can include Butler-owned titles or your own personal copies. These items are placed behind the Information Commons Desks in Irwin and Science and given 4-hour loan period.
Fill out the Reserve Request form to begin this process.
Items often placed on reserve include: books, scores, CDs, DVDs, solution manuals, instructional manuals, handbooks, supplements to textbooks.
