Faculty & Staff Resources: Guide to Electronic Theses

Thesis submission is now online! Beginning Spring 2016, your your students will be submitting a digital version of their thesis and you will be asked to sign a certification page that will be scanned and attached to that file. Butler University Libraries will still bind a print copy for the university's collection and departments will have the opportunity to order their own copies (which will be $20, payable by credit or debit card). 

Your students will also be given the opportunity to upload their thesis to Digital Commons. We would love for you to encourage your students to do so and make their work freely available. One of the most popular items in Digital Commons is a student thesis and it has been downloaded over 7,000 times! This is a great opportunity to include them in the scholarly conversation and gives them a nice resume line item. We are also able to make theses available only on Butler campus; please contact Josh Petrusa for more information.
