Students with visual impairments benefit from audio descriptions, a verbal explanation of what is visually happening on screen. Audio descriptions for videos are required under the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG); therefore, scripting your instructional video may be necessary until the habit of using audio descriptions is formed.
