These sites offer collections of open access textbooks for multiple subject areas. Most content is free; some sites require registration. Check with your professor before you use an open access textbook for your course work.
Tip: Be willing to spend some time exploring these textbook sites. You may have to search within an e-textbook collection or click through a few pages on the website to get to a textbook that will help with your assignment.
Open Access Textbooks: If an author or authors can be identified, cite the book as you would for a print or ebook. If no author(s) can be identified for the open access book or book chapters, use the open access publisher as the author (see example below). Include the website URL for the textbook at the end of the citation.
