American Public Health Association (APHA) represents a broad array of health professionals and others who care about their own health and the health of their communities   

Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPHA) - promotes the efforts of schools of public health to improve the health of every person through education, research, and policy 

Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) - representing the public health agencies of the United States, the U.S. Territories, and the District of Columbia 

International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) - worldwide, independent and professional association of individuals and organizations committed to improving the health and wellbeing of the people through education, community action and the development of healthy public policy

Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA) - professional organization for all midwives, recognizing the diversity of educational backgrounds and practice styles within the profession

National Association for County & City Health Officials (NACCHO) - national organization representing local health departments

National Association for Public Health Statistics and Information Systems (NAPHSIS) - national association of state vital records and public health statistics offices

National Association of Community Health Centers (NACNC) - works with a network of state health center and primary care organizations to serve health centers

National Association of Health Data Organizations - (NAHDO) dedicated to improving health care through the collection, analysis, dissemination, public availability, and use of health data

National Association of Local Boards of Health (NALBOH) - national voice for local, tribal, and state boards of health

National Association of Rural Health Clinics (NARHC) - dedicated exclusively to improving the delivery of quality, cost-effective health care in rural under served areas through the Rural Health Clinics (RHC) Program

National Environmental Health Association (NEHA)- advancing environmental health through advancement of education and motivation

National Rural Health Association (NRHA) - provides leadership on rural health issues

Public Health Foundation (PHF) - dedicated to achieving healthy communities through research, training, and technical assistance

Public Health Law Association (PHLA) - for everyone who shapes, uses, teaches, studies or conducts research in the field of public health law and policy

Public Health Leadership Society (PHLS) - alumni from national, state and regional public health leadership institutes

Safe States Alliance - support state and local injury and violence prevention professionals

Society for Epidemiologic Research (SER) - committed to keeping epidemiologists at the vanguard of scientific developments

Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) - the only professional organization devoted exclusively to public health education and health promotion

Society of Toxicology (SOT) - committed to creating a safer and healthier world by advancing the science of toxicology
