Whenever possible, you should be using images that have Creative Commons licenses or are within the Public Domain.
You need to give attribution for these images in the page when you use them.
We recommend that you use the Caption option in Weebly to place the citation right underneath the image. You could also create another box on the same page that clearly identifies the image and provides the attribution (for example, a box at the bottom that says "header image" with the citation).
Your attribution should include the name of the image, the name of the author/creator, and the license. Best practice asks you to link the name of the image back to the image url, and the license to the license page on the Creative Commons website. Examples are provided to the right.
If you embed content (such as a YouTube video or Google Map) that links back to its original source automatically, you do not need to cite it within the text.
