Citation Help

CCOM APA Citing Cheat Sheet (use for all CCOM majors)
This guide is applicable for citing in all fields of communication studies.  Demonstrates how to cite sources that Butler Libraries subscribes to such as Simmons, Business Source Complete, Mintel, Sport Market Analytics, etc.

Purdue's Online Writing Lab (OWL) is a trusted source for citation style instructions.  As a librarian, this is the first page that I consult for citation help.

The American Psychological Association's APA Style website is a good place to refer to for citation guidance.

Sports Business Journal

Keeping updated daily - The Sports Industry News Source

(SBJ) SportsBusiness Journal  is a sports news provider providing original reporting and analysis.  SBJ provides the news, the networking and the data to keep informed about the sports industry.  The sites' weekly and daily content provides original reporting and news aggregation, plus newsletters, podcasts and video.

Note:  A limited number of articles are available for free on their website.  To search an archive of articles, go to, SportsDiscus.  SportsDiscus indexes and abstracts articles from SportsBusiness Journal, but to access the full-text, Butler students, faculty, and staff can request the article through interlibrary loan.  Questions about how to do this? Contact the librarian on this LibGuide.
