All Butler eBooks are accessible via WorldCat Discovery, so we recommend it as the place to get started with your ebook search.
Ebooks should be identified with an icon.
WorldCat Discovery includes items that Butler Libraries do not have access to. In order for you to be able to access an ebook, the record must show that Butler University Libraries owns the item:
If the record says the item is owned by WorldCat, PALNI, or anybody else, you will not have access to it. In these situations, you may contact Butler Libraries to see what other options for access are available.
To view an ebook, click on the View Now option. This will expand a menu to show you which database/ebook collection provides full text access. Occasionally, you may multiple View eBook links if we have duplicate coverage from different providers (for example, if a book is available via both EBSCO and ebrary). Select the provider you prefer and click on the View eBook link.
The process for viewing and downloading ebooks varies from provider to provider. Directions for our largest providers are listed here; select your provider from the tabs above. If you don't see your provider listed, or have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact Butler Libraries.
