Google Apps: Drive

A basic guide to using Google Apps at Butler

What is Google Drive?

Google Drive allows you to access your uploaded files from anywhere you are connected to the internet. Just go to drive.google.com to create and view files such as documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and forms. Google Drive has 15 GB of free storage, but more space can be purchased if necessary. Google Drive is excellent for collaboration, as files can be viewed and edited by other users that you share the file with.

For more information on the specific types of Google Drive files, read the subpages included in this guide under the Drive tab.

Not sure what type of file you will need? Read this overview to learn about the different types.
