This guide on LGBT health offers both consumer health resources and information for health professionals.

"LGBT" (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) is the most frequently used term in the health sciences for the many-acronymed world of diverse sexualities and gender identities, but "I" (Intersex) and "Q" (Queer and/or Questioning) also often appear.

For more information on LGBT terms, please visit the It Gets Better Project's LGBTQ+ Glossary.
