Find books, articles, media, and more at Butler and beyond
One helpful way to search for books in WorldCat Discovery, is to identify Library of Congress Subject Headings that describe what you are looking for. Here are some subject headings related to the music/recording industry:
Call numbers tell you where a book is shelved. It is the "address" of the book in the library. In the Butler Libraries, we use Library of Congress Classification which groups titles by subject matter.
The following call number ranges are assigned to music and related topics related to the music industry. Simply go to the floor that houses the call number ranges below, and you can just browse the shelves for books on the numbered topics.
