Indianapolis 101: Shopping in Indy

Highlights some Indianapolis activities, neighborhoods, and resources for new Butler students and their families

Castleton Mall

CASTLETON SQUARE MALL

The largest mall in Indiana, Castleton Square Mall has a lot to offer students. There are plenty of shopping opportunities here in this mall's list of stores.  For bargain hunters, preview deals online.  Castleton, which opened in 1972, also houses a large food court with plenty of restaurant options. Attractions also include a 14 screen AMC theater. The Castleton area along East 82nd Street and East 86th street offers additional shopping and eating options.

Circle Center Mall

CIRCLE CENTRE MALL

The Circle Centre Mall downtown has four levels with stores, restaurants, classic arcade attractions, laser tag, glow golf, and more.

It also houses the Indianapolis Star newspaper's offices, Brown Mackie College, and The Simon Youth Academy for high schoolers.

The mall is located across from the headquarters of Simon Properrty Group, the largest public retail real estate owner in the world.

Keystone at the Crossing

THE FASHION MALL AT KEYSTONE AT THE CROSSING

This mall might not be in every student’s price point, but it can still be fun to walk around and browse.  After all, there's a Tesla inside the mall!  The Apple Store and Microsoft Store are good resources if students have computer troubles.  Small and large stores offer items from bath bombs to tea and clothing.  Restaurants and a movie theater can cap off a long week of classes.
