5: Interlibrary Loan

You have access to many articles, books, videos, and more through the library.  However, if you need an item that is not available through the library, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan.  (You should not need to buy anything on your own.)

First, you need to sign up for an account.  Just go to Interlibrary Loan (or click on the ILLiad (Interlibrary Loan) link on the library home page), log in with your Butler username and password, and then fill out the form.

If you find an item you need that is not available through the library, click on the Request through ILL buttonbutton which will prompt you to log in to your Interlibrary Loan account and you can submit the request (which should be filled out for you once you log in).
