Children's and Young Adult Literature: Welcome

guide to children's and young adult literature resources

Welcome!

Welcome to the Children's and Young Adult Literature Resource Guide!

Butler Libraries have more than 6000 picturechapter, biography, and young adult books and you have access to many additional related online library resources.  This guide should help you to find the materials you need to learn about and use children's and young adult literature.

Please keep in mind that Butler students are also eligible for a library card from the Indianapolis Public Library which provides an even larger collection of children's and young adult literature.  Please take your Butler ID and a piece of mail showing your address with you when you go to a library branch to sign up for a library card.

Also, the State Library can provide book club kits if you are interested in working with a book club for K-12 students. Although this program is primarily for public libraries, the State Library is willing to work with Butler University students.

You can use the tabs above to link to more information.  If you have questions or need help, just let me know.  I would also be happy to hear your comments and suggestions.
