Wall Street Journal & New York Times - Daily Newspapers

Newspaper Apps - Read the Daily Newspaper on your Phone, Tablet, or Laptop!

Set up individual access to the Wall Street Journal - these directions provide an electronic subscription to the newspaper, which you can view on your phone, tablet, laptop, or PC.

 

The New York Times allows complimentary access to Butler University faculty, staff, and students both on and off-campus. To create your own account, follow these Instructions.
 

As part of Butler's subscription, you also have access to the New York Times Cooking site/app.  Download the app onto your tablet or smartphone and login with your Butler NYT account credentials.

IndyStar

Keeping up on Local News

Butler provides access to the IndyStar dating back as early as 1848 up to the present.  Access to years of coverage is available through numerous subscription-based and free, online avenues.  Other than the Indianapolis Star eEdition linked below, IndyStar does not provide an institutional account for mobile app. access.

Did you know you have access to many subscription-based newspapers and articles through your Butler credentials? If you are logging in from home, you will authenticate through the EZ Proxy with your Butler network username and password, and you are able to access hundreds of journals and thousands of articles with just a few clicks!  Here are Popular Article and Newspaper databases:
