This LibGuide provides citation guidance on the following styles:

  • MLA style (Modern Language Association) is typically used by the Humanities 
  • APA style (American Psychological Association)  often is used by Education, Psychology, and Business
  • Chicago/Turabian (Professor Turabian, University of Chicago) is generally used by History and some of the Fine Arts

In addition, we have some subject-specific citation LibGuides that you can direct students to.  Examples of these include:

Your Subject Librarian can provide instructional assistance to your students on citation styles through course-embedded instruction or one-on-one research assistance.

Citation Management Tools

Have students use a Citation Manager to format their citations

Plagiarism
