Study: Social Media a Bust for Small BusinessesSmall businesses are becoming frustrated with the returns they are seeing as they invest more time and energy in social media sites. 61% say they don’t see returns on social media, while 30% say they see significant. The three main reasons businesses connect on these sites are to acquire and gain new customers, gain leads and referrals, and to boost awareness. Facebook was said to be the most difficult platform to maintain. Social media experts say that businesses aren’t patient enough in updating and seeing returns on their investment in social media.
