Panopto App (Android)

Panopto allows a user to easily record audio, video, and screens or applications on your device. You can download the Panopto app in the App Store. Below details the process of starting your video as well as a short tutorial on how to record with Panopto (Android).

iOS & Android only allow for video recording and not editing.

Process through Panopto App

  1.  Download and launch the  Panopto app.
     
  2. When the app is launched, it will open your browser to sign in through butler.hosted.panopto.com. Sign in with your Butler credentials.

  3. You should be signed in to the app now. In the bottom of the screen, select the + circle button to create/upload a recording.

  4.  Select "Upload and Record" from the bottom of the screen.

  5. Tap "My Folder" and select the folder you want your video to be saved.

  6.  Inside the dashed lines, tap on the "Tap to record or upload a video."

  7. If you want to record a video, select "Camcorder." If you want to upload a video from your device, select "Files."

  8. Record/upload your video!
