In this article, learn how to add and edit ASR captioning. Note that all Panopto videos created after January 2022 will have ASR captions on by default.

In this article, you will learn how you can change the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) captioning language from your Panopto site's default language to the language of your choice for a folder in Panopto. Note: This feature does not translate videos via captioning. Only one language may be applied per folder.
