Submitting Panopto Recordings in Canvas Assignments
Navigate to your course in Canvas to the assignment you need to submit.
In the Text Entry field that opens below the assignment instructions, click the Panopto icon
This will open a window where you can navigate to the folder where you recorded your Panopto video. Navigate to the course assignment folder—it will be labeled “(your course name) [assignments]”—by typing in the folder name in the top field and choosing the assignment folder from the list.
Locate and select your video.
Select "Insert" in the bottom right.
When the video is embedded in the text box, click the "Submit Assignment" button. Note that if your video is still processing, you may see a message saying “The video isn’t ready yet.” You can still submit your assignment, and the video will finish encoding and be live for your instructor to view.
